Today, we continue on in our new summer series — “Summer in the Psalms” — with a look at the very powerful Psalm 46.  It tells of the strength and support God gives us through the trouble we all experience. No matter the weapons we are using against one another today, or the times we forget to look first to God in times of trouble, or even when we forget that God is firmly on our side, He is there, providing us strength and a refuge when it seems like the mountains are falling into the seas and the world as we know it trembles.  This Psalm reminds us to put down our weapons and depend on God.

We look forward to continuing to share the uplifting messages of hope and inspiration found in the Psalms throughout the remainder of the summer.
