Reflections on Grace: Saved by Grace - Upper Room | First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth

How do we go about dealing with the darkness of this world?  We looked at this question today in our Palm Sunday installment of the Reflections on Grace series entitled “Saved by Grace.”  It isn’t, sadly, though more fully improving our humanity that we can expect to change the world.  In today’s dark social environment, we need to be saved by Grace.  The world we live in today is sometimes a very terrible place – disasters and divisiveness surround us continually.  So, the only way we can heal the brokenness is through looking to the cross and receiving the gift God offers each one of us.  God’s mercy and saving grace is the only cure for the darkness of the world.

Based on John 3:1-17.
