A Portrait of God: The God Who Sings - Upper Room | First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth

As we look at ‘The God Who Sings,’ we begin by looking at a famous passage in the Old Testament book of Zephaniah. Zephaniah 3:17 tells us that God will provide us with a mighty warrior who will save us, and that God will rejoice and sing over us in His delight.  In fulfillment of this promise, God gave us His son, Jesus, as that might warrior who saves us and fights for us even today.  We are invited into a relationship with him that is entirely based on love, not fear.  When God sings over us, that act of singing is an act of love and vulnerability showing His caring for each of us, as a parent cares for and loves a child.

Based on Zephaniah 3:14-20.
