The Archeology of Faith - Upper Room | First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth

The First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth is celebrating 184 years of worship in Plymouth today on our new (and more appropriately timed) Anniversary Sunday.  In honor of this event, we invited our recently retired Paster Emeritus, Rev. Dr. James Skimins, to join Rev. Emily Riley Campbell to lead this special service.

Rev. Skimins shared his thoughts on ‘The Archeology of Faith’ as he encouraged the congregation to look at our own personal faith histories and to use those as the foundation for moving forward into the future of this church. He reminded us that it is our faith stories that make the difference, and those stories that lead us, and others, to be refreshed and renewed in God.

Based on Hebrews 11:1-11; 38-40 and John 10:1-10.
