Stronger Together - Sanctuary | First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth

Today we are celebrating St. Andrew’s Sunday with tartans, music by bagpiper Dave Martin, and the scripture reading from the Scots Bible (and the NIV version as well).  The Presbyterian church, with its roots in Scotland, is a church that is part of a larger fellowship of believers.  Like the early Christians, we are called together through the foundational acts of teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer. In the book of Acts, Chapter 2, we follow the early Christians as they experience Pentecost, were the Spirit was dispersed amongst them, and then to the formation of the early church.  Even today, we remain spirit-led and a Christian community based on the same four foundational acts.  We are stronger together.  We are a family of faith.

Based on Acts 2:42-47.
