Today is the first of seven sermons based on the first nine chapters of the Book of Acts.  This book is about the acts of the Holy Spirit at work in the world of Jesus’ day, and at work in the world around us and in our lives today.

As the book of Acts begins, we learn that, after Jesus had risen, he returned to his teaching and healing ministry for an additional 40 days.  As a result, the disciple’s lives were in upheaval.  They were living lives that were outside of their control, waiting, as we are doing today, for an unknown future to be revealed.  Despite this unknown future, they were called, as we are today, to be bold witnesses for Jesus Christ.

We hope you will join us as we make this 7-week journey through the book of Acts to see how the Holy Spirit is at work, even today.
