Reflections on Grace: A Grace-Filled Life - Upper Room | First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth

As we wrap up the sermon series on Grace, we summarize the topic by looking at The Grace-Filled Life.  Understanding Grace is not an easy subject to understand and accept, even with such a simple definitions.  Sometimes the best way to look at it is to first start with the idea of what it is NOT.  Grace is not something we create.  It’s not something we can abuse. It’s not something we can earn or coerce.  It isn’t something we can lose. Grace is that unearned, unexpected, surprising gift that God has given to us, and it’s that one thing that separates Christianity from every other faith in the world.  Grace.  It IS amazing!

As we explored Grace today, we shared this video from popular YouTube minister Jon Jorgenson ( in which he talks about what Grace means:

Based on Ephesians 2:1-10 and 1 Peter 4:7-11.
