Overview of Program
Buildings and Grounds (B&G) is an all-volunteer group of church members responsible for maintaining the grounds and building of the church and providing an environment that is conducive to carrying out the ministerial and mission objectives of the congregation.
Ministry Focus
To provide volunteers that are available to assist in staging programs for all committees and functions within the church.
Where and When?
Buildings & Grounds meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Library. Other workdays are scheduled as needed including spring and fall clean up days.
Upcoming News & Volunteer Opportunities:
Working Weekly on Wednesdays… (Ongoing) All who are available are welcome to join the B&G members on Wednesday mornings as they work on a wide variety of jobs around the church. If you have some spare time and an interest in handy-work, please come and join this dedicated team as they work in and around the church.
Handyman Request Form:
The Building and Grounds Members have agreed on a new program whereby we will do small repairs for those in our congregation who can’t do it themselves. This would involve things that we normally do for ourselves in our own homes, such as replacing an electrical switch, faucet leaks, etc. This would not include larger problems that require a plumber or electrician, which will be left to the professionals.
Steve Marulis will be the contact person (email ssmarulis@gmail.com) and he will arrange for a B&G member to get in touch with the requestor. A Request Form can be found here, or let Steve know if you prefer to fill out a paper copy.
