True Hope, Not Hype - Upper Room | First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth

Many things are excessively hyped today — movies, storms, sports events, sales…  The hype often affects our actions in response to do something — act/participate/watch/fear… But in truth, most things do not live up to their hype, and we feel let down.  Then there are the things that do NOT get excessively hyped, but rather are promoted by word of mouth based on good experiences.  But what would happen if those things did not exist?  Or more specifically, what would happen if God did not exist? The greatest hope that God provides for us is hope in the face of death.

Based on 1 Corinthians 15:50-58 and Revelation 22:1-5.
