FPCP’s Memorial Garden, filled with plantings, benches, and a lovely tiered fountain, is truly a place of beauty, peace and serenity. It is available to anyone who wishes to visit for the purpose of meditation, prayer and reflection, or to simply rest in a place of peace and solitude for a time.
In addition to the seating area, the Memorial Garden contains a Cenotaph Wall, where those buried elsewhere can be memorialized, and a Columbarium, where ashes in urns can be placed in niches for their final resting place.
How to Prepare for an Interment
To be Interred in FPCP’s Memorial Garden: If you or your family member desires to be interred in the Memorial Garden, it is a good idea to make this a clear intention as part of the estate planning process.
To purchase a site for either the Cenotaph Wall or the Columbarium, please contact the Finance Administrator, Stewart Dodge to fill out the appropriate paperwork and identify an available site. For more information about our Columbarium, please review Columbarium Brochure.
Memorial Garden Interment: Contact the Stewart Dodge to schedule the date, time and details of the Funeral Service. Please refer to the Funeral page for details of the funeral service planning. Please note that due to weather considerations, interments can only be done in the spring, summer or fall. Winter funerals may include an interment, but the interment will not take place until the weather permits in the spring.
If you have questions or would like to schedule a funeral and/or interment, please contact our Finance Administrator, Stewart Dodge, at 734-453-6464, ext. 116 or by email at studodge[at]fpcp.net to schedule the date and time, and to complete the necessary documentation.
