Join us on the fast track to family fun and experiencing God
as we climb aboard the Rocky Railway!
While VBS will look different this year, the fun and learning won’t change. We will be offering a hybrid VBS experience for families to explore together from:
Sunday, July 18th through Friday, July 23rd
- On Sunday evening, we will gather in the FPCP train station for departure. You might also recognize it as the FPCP parking lot! Before departure on the Rocky Railway you will sing songs, hear a Bible story, and, most importantly, pick up all of the supplies you will need for the rest of the week.
- On Wednesday evening, passengers under 10 years old will Zoom with Mrs. Maginley to hear the Bible story for the day and talk about our trip on the Rocky Railway.
- On Friday evening, the train arrives back in the FPCP station for a celebration of all that we have learned and experienced during the week.
- The remainder of the week will be available for you to enjoy at home as a family. Bible stories, skits, songs, crafts, Science-y gizmos and more will be online or will be included in the supplies passed out on Sunday evening. We will include options for kids from preschool age through elementary (or older if they want to ride the rails also!) You can determine the time of day and choose the games or crafts based on ages and interests of your family. No special skills will be needed! Just a sense of fun and willingness to spend family time learning to “Trust Jesus.”
Important Registration Information:
Registration will be opening on May 21st for FPCP families. You will need to register on the FPCP website in advance so that we can guarantee parking space for all who want to climb aboard. Please take advantage of “advanced ticketing” by registering by June 4th. After that, we will open up registration to the community, so register early (below) so that your space is guaranteed.
Registration will close on July 5th to give the conductor and engineer time to ready the train.
There is no set ticket price for your ride aboard the Rocky Railway, but we are suggesting a donation of $10 per child.
Stay tuned for further details or email Darlene Maginley if you have any questions.
