Many activities are offered for children from birth through 5th grade, all of which are are designed to teach them about God’s plans for our lives through music, Bible stories and study, play, mission opportunities, and a wide variety of activities and projects. These include:

Online Sunday School for K-5th Grade

Regular Sunday School details:

Sunday School is available to children from preschool age through 5th grade during the 9:30am and 11:05am church services during the school year. Classes are taught by teaching teams of two adults, and provide weekly lessons based on an established curriculum.

Typically, children attend the beginning of all Worship Services with their parents. At the appropriate time during the service, the children will be called forward as indicated in the bulletin and will be escorted to their classrooms.

Infant and toddler care is also available at each Worship Service.

 Where do I pick up my child(ren) after church?

Children through 5th grade will remain in their Sunday School classrooms until they are picked up by a parent, unless otherwise noted in the bulletin. Classrooms are listed in the bulletin by service time, or, if you need assistance locating a specific classroom, you may ask any Sunday School teacher, the Deacons of the Day, or refer to the Church building map.

Does my family need to belong to the First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth to participate in Sunday School?

What if I have a Special Needs Child(ren)?

At FPCP, special needs children are mainstreamed into age-appropriate or ability-appropriate classrooms (as determined by the parents and teachers).
