Phone: 734-453-6464
Email: geffphillips@gmail.com

We welcome Geff Phillips as our new Upper Room Worship Leader. He is no stranger to First Presbyterian of Plymouth as he has served as a substitute in the Upper Room on numerous occasions.

Geff studied music and business at the University of Michigan (Dearborn). He sings and plays a variety of instruments. Although this is his first time as an “on-staff” worship leader, Geff grew up in the church and over the years has served as musician/vocalist at Bass Lake Family Camp, Christus Victor Lutheran (Dearborn Heights), Northridge (Saline Campus), Alpha Baptist (Livonia) and Life Church Canton and Livonia.

Married for over 30 years to Nancy Phillips, Geff lives just a few blocks from First Presbyterian where he and his wife have raised their three adult children.

Geff’s Philosophy on Worship Leading and Music

“My goal as a Worship Leader is to inspire others to let their emotional guard down to sing and join in the praise of God. I have played music my entire life because it allows for spiritual and emotional connection. I find it fulfilling to share music and humor to engage and inspire people to sing. I hope my musical versatility and faith will help the message of Christ to be heard by the people of First Presbyterian and throughout the world.”

Director of Communications and Technology

Duration: 2021- Present
Phone:  ext. 111
Email: Mileswoolridge@fpcp.net

The Director of Communications and Technology is responsible for supporting the church’s overall communication activities, including the main Facebook pages for the church, the FPCP website, Livestreaming services, and assisting with web-, graphic- and Audio/Visual/zoom-related requests.

About:

Hi, I’m Miles Woolridge. Graduate of Lawrence Technological University with a bachelor’s in audio engineering. People that get to know me would say I’m honest and hard-working. It’s in my blood to work hard and to do it right, no matter how many times I might mess up. I learned that the hard way and it made me into who I am today. I’m one of the lucky ones that grew up having everything, to then lose it the next because sometimes life isn’t fair. But that molded me to be a strong and honest man, so I might look annoyed or intimidating but that is just my exterior. I like to smile, I like to laugh and I love the life God has given me.
