First Presbyterian Middle School Ministry strives to be a place where students in 6th-8th grade can come engage in community and in their faith in a real and authentic way. Whether you are a devoted follower of Christ or aren’t so sure about this God thing….. this is the place for you. We have a ton of fun as we look at our journey in faith. So grab a friend and come hang out with us!
On-going Activities:
Wednesday Nights
Our weekly youth group meeting happens on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Middle School Room (Upstairs). We have dinner, fun games (Nintendo Switch), hang out time, and a lesson that challenges us to follow Christ every day. Come check us out!
Launch Confirmation Class
Confirmation Class, now known as Launch, is designed to help 7th and 8th graders explore their faith journey and prepare to become members of FPCP. Students learn what it means to live life as a Christian and a Presbyterian. The class culminates in the students deciding if they are ready to publicly commit to pursuing a life following Christ, becoming involved in the mission activities and other areas as an adult member of the church. In addition to classes that feature studies, speakers and discussions, the students will also occasionally sit in on either the Sanctuary or the Upper Room Services to experience different worship styles and events. More information about the Confirmation Class will be coming soon — keep checking for updates.
