Do I need a State Park pass (Recreation Passport) to enter Maybury State Park?

Yes, you will need a Recreation Passport to enter the State Park.  The cost of an annual pass is: 

  • $11 – Michigan registered vehicles
  • $31 – Non-Michigan registered vehicle

Annual Passport license plate stickers may be purchased online or at Secretary of State kiosks or offices.  Window sticker Passports may be purchased at the park entrance on the day of the picnic.  For more information, visit the DNR site on Michigan.gov: Recreation Passport Info

Is there a way I can attend without purchasing a State Park Recreational Passport?

Yes, in fact, you can!  Thanks to the support from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Michigan Public Libraries, including the Plymouth District Library, FREE one-day passes into a State Park or Recreation Area are available to library patrons.  Passes are available in the Copy Room Area on the Main Level of the Library.  Visit the Plymouth Library’s Michigan Activity Passes page for more information about this and other offers.
