Today we look at the second of seven sermons based on the first nine chapters of the Book of Acts.  This book is about the acts of the Holy Spirit at work in the world of Jesus’ day, and at work in the world around us and in our lives today.

As the book of Acts continues, we see the followers of Jesus receive the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, and we watch the beginnings of the early church.  The early church was based on four principles, all of which are still practical today in our modern churches.  And they worked because, first, the Gospel is inclusive of all, and second, because the early Christians treated the church as a family.  Our challenge is to apply those principles of the early church to our lives today.

We hope you will continue to join us as we make this 7-week journey through the book of Acts and see how the Holy Spirit is at work, even today.
