When we think about a marathon, we think about the difficulty, the endurance, the sheer will it takes to make it to the end of the race.  A marathon can also be a metaphor for our lives.  In our lives, we face trouble and adversity, but with perseverance and with our trust in God, we can push through and run the good race.

To shed some more insight into this, Rev. Campbell interviewed marathon runner and FPCP member Doug Heasley about his running experiences.

Based on 2 Corinthians 12:7b-10 and 2 Timothy 4:6-7.
