As we honor our earthly fathers today, we also look at how to please our heavenly Father.  Many falsely believe that there is only one right thing we should do with our lives that will please God, and this often causes us to refrain from acting out of fear that we will get it wrong.  But in reality, God encourages us to follow Him without fretting, without comparing our lives to those of other people.  We are called to trust, to act in accordance with the teachings of the Bible, and to seek God’s will and direction above our own.  In this way, God will be pleased, and our lives will be full of Grace.
