As we near the end of our Alpha sermon series, we turn to the question of ‘Who is the Holy Spirit?’ The Holy Spirit is the very presence of God in this world. It’s the manifestation of God’s love, and the sign of God’s compassion. It guides us in how we treat each other. The Holy Spirit was manifested when Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River, and again at the first Pentecost, and it is still alive in the world today. It is the guidance that God provides for us as we live our lives.
Based on 2 Timothy 1:1-14.
