FPCP’s Family Ministry program exists to EMBRACE the community, ENGAGE children and teenagers in Christ, EQUIP them to be disciples, and EMPOWER them to do God’s will, because every child is created in the image of God.  So we are investing in the future, both of our families and of our church.

The Family Ministry program has six opportunities for involvement:

The Path is our Sunday School program.  It embraces and engages each child through small groups at all age levels. The Path provides Biblical instruction plus the development of worship skills, including worship with the family, Communion, offering, singing and mission projects.

9:00 am • Preschool through Twelfth grade
• Confirmation Class
10:30 am • Preschool through Fifth Grade

The Bridge
includes two elements — The Bridge (Preschool – Middle School) and The Oasis (High School). This is FPCP’s midweek, multi-generational family ministry.  On Wednesday evenings, our participants gather for Bible study, worship skills, a family-style dinner, and lots of fun.  From mission opportunities to special themes and holiday celebrations, there is always something special happening.  We treat everyone, young and old, like a child of God, and we would love to have you join us!

Warehouse is our Middle School ministry and meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:00pm.  Students get the chance to grow together in Bible study through both small and big group experiences.  They will continue to connect together under the leadership of our adult mentors and through multiple mission/service opportunities and camps/retreats throughout the year.

Launch is our Confirmation Class.  All eighth grade students and older who have not been through Confirmation are invited to join us Sunday mornings with Launch.  This program meets September through May in the Middle School room and seeks to prepare students for a life of faith by wrestling with the questions of Christianity, for learning to serve in service projects and for expressing ourselves in worship of all kinds.

Underground is our high school ministry and meets on Sunday nights from 6-8:00 pm in the High School room.  High School students will dig deep into the Bible through small groups and get to experience peer-led worship.  They will connect with adult mentors who will help them deepen their faith life.  Students will get the opportunity to serve through our summer mission program and to build strong bonds together in our camps and retreats.

Crossroads is FPCP’s college ministry for the 18-25 year old college and non-college students.  The college ministry seeks to continue to engage students in their Christian life while growing in their education and responsibilities in life.  During the year, students connect regularly with an adult mentor to share meals, encouragement, networking for internships, occasional trips/retreats and provision of other needs as requested.  In the summer, Bible studies are held weekly, along with many other opportunities for connecting.
