Description:

We’ll read of the birth of our Lord, and his life and teachings – – including many of his parables (e.g., “the prodigal son”), and his death and resurrection.  I have found Luke’s writings to be (in a word) wonderful!

If you have not had a chance to experience N. T. Wright’s writings previously, you will be amazed at how he helps us to understand the Scripture, while also being so completely relevant to today’s world in which we find ourselves.  His writing style is very straightforward and modern, so the reading is not at all ponderous!  In fact, that is why he titles his commentaries “for everyone” – – they are completely accessible.

Combined with our conversation and discussion, the Scripture can be opened up to us in new ways that will help each of us to live the life that God wants, and that our families and church need.
