Give in Person On Sunday or By Mail
On Sundays, place cash or checks payable to FPCP (First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth) in the offering plate during any of our Sunday services. Writing your pledge box number on a pew envelope or using the numbered envelopes from your pledge box will ensure that your giving is recorded, and a statement of giving will be sent to you quarterly for tax purposes. Specific designations (special donations such as Colina de Luz, One Great Hour of Sharing, Christmas Joy, etc.) may be noted by a comment on the memo line. If you would like to commit to giving a regular amount and would like to receive a pledge box, please contact Stu Dodge (email or 734-453-6464 ext. 116).
You can also mail your check to the church office (please do not send cash through the mail). Address your envelope to:
First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth
Attn: Stu Dodge, Financial Administrator
701 Church Street
Plymouth, MI 48170
Give by Bill Pay
Most banks now offer online bill pay services to their customers, either free of charge or for a nominal fee. Please use the same address as for gifts by mail, and don’t forget to indicate in the memo of your payment the purpose for which your payment is intended.
Give Non-Cash Gifts
There can be tax benefits associated with contributions of stocks or other non-cash gifts. If you wish to give a gift of stock, mutual fund shares or some other type of non-cash gift, please contact Stu Dodge at (734) 453-6464 ext. 116 or at studodge[at]fpcp.net. For more information about FPCP’s Endowment program, go to the Endowment page.
Year End Giving
To maximize the tax benefits of giving to the church, be sure to complete your annual giving prior to the end of each calendar year.
- The last Sunday to give is the final Sunday of December.
- The last calendar day to give is the last business day preceding December 31st. Please note that the church office will close at noon on that day. All giving must be received by mail or by other means prior to noon on that day to be recorded as given in that calendar year. Running late? Don’t forget the options to give online, by app or by text any time prior to noon on that date.
