Join us for a special service hosted by FPCP and the First United Methodist Church of Plymouth.  Held this year at First Presbyterian, Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent. This community service will include Communion and the placing of ashes.  It will be conducted by the joined ministers of both churches, and special music will be offered by the combined choirs.

Ash Wednesday derives its name from the practice of blessing ashes (traditionally made from palm branches blessed on the previous year’s Palm Sunday), and placing them on the heads of participants.
