Yoga for EveryBODY!!
Begin the new year with physical and spiritual wellness! Come join us at 6pm on Thursday, January 23, Thursday, February 20th and Thursday, March 19th for a one hour basic yoga class! Lisa Petty, RYT 200, will guide a basic yoga sequence of poses; seated and standing. Lisa is a member of our congregation who teaches beginner and flow yoga at several local studios. This will be beneficial and fun for everyone; all levels are welcomed! Register Online
Yoga for a Safe, Strong Back!
Learn yoga poses to strengthen your back as well as how to move safely in a yoga practice to avoid back strain. This yoga class is appropriate for all levels. Participants must be able to get up and down off the floor (it doesn’t need to be graceful!). The class will be taught by FPCP member Sharon Holcomb, a registered yoga instructor, Thursday, February 6th and Thursday, March 5th at 6 pm. Register Online
Yoga Classes: Participants should wear clothing that allows easy movement and bring clothing for warmth such as socks and a sweatshirt. Bring a yoga mat, a blanket or beach towel, and yoga blocks if you have them. If you have extra blocks, please bring some to share. If you bring your own water bottle (think green!), please be sure the top will close securely.
There will be a “free will” offering after the nutrition and yoga classes with the proceeds benefitting one of FPCP’s mission partners.
